Here’s the scoop:
R.W. Elephant is providing an Art Internship for Spring 2014 to an uber-creative individual. This young growing company seeks to support emerging artists through a semester-long internship that will provide the artist with art direction, critique, and an audience in a commercial production setting.
This internship will utilize multimedia creations which may include illustration, 2D & 3D design, stop-motion animation, land art, and cartography. Check out Instagram for a little taste of what we’ve been up to.
The artist’s internship at R.W. Elephant is designed to provide a robust, challenging experience for a young artist in a business environment.
Interested applicants should send a preview of their portfolio and list of applicable completed courses to rw@rwelephant.com by December 31, 2013. Deadline extended to January 15, 2014.
This 8-12 hour per week internship is unpaid but can be used for academic credit.
R.W. Elephant has created a Programming Internship for Computer Science and Technology students for the Spring of 2014. This semester-long internship will provide hands-on experience with Objective J, Perl, MySQL, and HTML in a growing SaaS environment.Interns will be guided through problem-solving and creative-thinking to create elegant code. R.W. Elephant will provide interns with exposure to current technology, new thinking in the programming industry, and rigorous challenges in a commercial environment.
Interns will be able to tailor their apprenticeship to focus on any number of areas including (but not limited to):
- Database management
- iOS development
- Quality assurance testing and deployment
- User interface design
This 8-12 hour per week unpaid internship will take place mostly independently with meetings with our team for direction, critique, discussion, and inspiration. These meetings will take place on various Saturdays in February, March, April and May. Specific dates and times are to be determined.
