The Replacement Cost field is for the amount you’ll have to pay if you need to replace one of your Inventory Items. This may be the same as the Acquisition Cost or not.
For instance, if you originally purchased 10 for $1000 but would have to pay $120 if you only bought one piece at a time, you’ll list $120 as the Replacement Cost.
Using the Damaged & Missing Item Workflow, you can choose to charge your Customer the Replacement Cost of an Item if it comes back from an Event Damaged Beyond Repair or if it is Missing.
