Within Item Detail, enter how much an Item weighs when it is being delivered.
When filling out this field, you’ll only need to enter numbers. No need to enter the unit of measure.
Just like the other measurement fields within RW Elephant, there is no specific measurement required for this field. We just recommend that you stay consistent. So, whether that is always in pounds, grams, etc. just enter the same unit of measurement for all of your Items.
The Weight will read “X weight” per “quantity”.
The first box is for the weight of the Item, and the second box is for the number of Items that are included in that weight amount.
Be sure to include any packing materials in the weight that are required to deliver the item. For instance, if it is packed in a road case or a crate, be sure to weigh the Item in its deliverable state.
For example, each of our Oliver Chairs weighs 5 pounds. So we will enter “5 per 1.”

If you store multiple of an Item in a crate. For instance, 10 plates in a crate, you’d enter the weight of the crate plus the 10 plates and enter per “10.”
