Archiving Orders

Hide past Orders from your list of Orders with Order Archiving.

Order Archiving will help your staff save time wading through Completed Orders and also will speed up the performance of your RW Account, especially if you have 100+ Orders.

To manually Archive an Order, head to the “Orders” icon in the upper left corner of the browser window.

From the list of Orders on the left, select the Order you’d like to Archive.

Right-click on the Order in the list and select “Archive Order.”

When the pop-up window appears, choose “Archive” to confirm your choice.

You will know the Order is Archived when it becomes italicized.

AUTO-ARCHIVING

Manually Archiving each and every Order would take a significant amount of time. That’s why we have enabled Auto-Archiving.

To set up Auto-Archiving, head to the “Account” icon in the upper right corner of your browser window.

From the list on the left, choose “Order Settings.”

Click the green “Edit” button.

Tick the “Auto-Archive” box and set the number of days after the event you want Orders to Archive.

For example, to automatically archive Orders a month after the event occurs, enter “30.” But it could be any number you like (i.e. 7, 10, 90, or 365 after the event).

Don’t forget to click the green “Save” button.

Now your Orders are set to Archive automatically after X amount of days past the event.

DISPLAY ARCHIVED ORDERS

If you would like to Hide or Show Archived Orders, head to the “Account” icon in the upper right corner of your browser window.

From the column on the left, choose “Order Settings.”

Click the green “Edit” button.

If you would like to SHOW Archived Orders, tick the “Display Archived Invoices” box.

(Anytime you would like to HIDE Archived Orders, return here and untick the box. But for now we’re just displaying them.)

Click the green “Save” button.

Now head over to the “Orders” icon in the upper left corner of your browser window.

You’ll notice your Archived Orders show up in the list (they’re in italics) but they can’t be edited unless you right-click and choose “Unarchive Order.”
